Few hours after the 8th Day Fidau Prayer of former governor of Oyo State, Late Senator Abiola Ajimobi on Sunday, the National Executive Council (IDU-USA NEC) and members of Ibadan Descendants’ Union, United States of America (IDU-USA) has commiserated with the Governor of the state, Engineer Seyi Makinde, people of the State and the family of the deceased on the passing away of the Ex-Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi who departed from this world on June 25th, 2020.
According to a statement signed by the National Public Relations Officer of the Union, Ade Oyejobi, the National Executives of IDU USA Inc, states that Senator Ajimobi will be remembered for his passion for infrastructural development of Oyo State.
“Senator Ajimobi’s family and the people of Oyo State are in our prayerful thoughts at this time. May his soul rest in peace”, said Dr. Olubunmi Afonja, IDU USA National President.
Ibadan Descendants’ Union, USA is an organization of sons and daughters of Ibadan based in the United States. The mission of the organization is to work with philanthropists in Ibadan and Oyo State for the development of Ibadanland in particular and Oyo State in general.
