Freshfm Ibadan OAP, Akeem Kareem, will on Saturday launch an educational support initiative known as Oak Educational Support Initiative.
Akeem Kareem who also organised lecture series said it is in the best interest of the members of the society to consciously push, mobilize and associate legitimately and legally to improve the society.
The maiden edition of the lecture Titled ” Revival or Reforms: Inflections and Introspections on the Emergent Integration in Yoruba Land” set to hold on Saturday, 21st day of March, 2020 by 11am at Yinka Ayefele Music house, Lagos/Ibadan Bypass, Challenge, Ibadan.
The Guest Lecturer is Alhaji Ahmed Raji (SAN), while the Keynote address will be delivered by His Excellency, Engineer Rauf Olaniyan, the Oyo state Deputy Governor.
Also expected in attendance is former Oyo state Governor Otunba (Dr). Adebayo Alao Akala(JP) PSC while other dignitaries include Honourable Shina Peller, Barrister Adeniyi Farinto,Oyo state Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, Vice Chancellor, LAUTECH Ogbomosho, Prof M.O Ologunde, Dr NureniAdeniran, Oyo SUBEB Chairman among other notable dignitaries.
According to him, the Educational Support Initiative is aimed at giving financial support to school children (boys and girls) to advance their educational pursuits so that they can be set on the path to achieve their dreams.
The Mathematics trained individual turned OAP seeks the support of all and sundry to make his visions come to fruition.
