Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin has expressed his heartfelt condolences over the passing of renowned Islamic scholar, Sheik Muhydeen Bello Ajani.
Folarin described Sheik Bello as a great father, advisor, and legend, whose demise has left a void in the Nigerian and African Muslim Ummah.
He made this known in a statement made available to newsmen on Friday.
Sheik Bello was an international Islamic preacher, scholar, and peace ambassador who dedicated his life to the propagation of Islam. His wise counsel and advice to political, religious, and traditional leaders will be deeply missed.
Folarin, who is also the Laguna Olubadan of Ibadanland, recalled Sheik Bello’s selfless and fulfilled life, saying, “Baba came, saw, and conquered.”
He prayed that Almighty Allah forgives Sheik Bello’s shortcomings and rewards his good deeds with Aljannat Firdaus.
The senator conveyed his deepest condolences to the bereaved families, Muslim Ummah, and the Nigerian Government.
