The Nigeria former Minister of Communications, Dr Abdur-Raheem Adebayo Shittu, has declared his intention to contest for All Progressives Congress (APC) National Secretary.
He said his abilities, experiences and antecedents as a former House of Assembly member for two consecutive times as State Commissioner and Hon. Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria would enable him to perform effectively if giving the chance.
He also promised never to disappoint the gratitude of the APC members if allowed to perform on the capacity.
In press statement made available by his media aide, Taiwo Oluwadare, he said: “This is to humbly notify members of the public and my well wishers of my aspiration to contest for the position of NATIONAL SECRETARY of APC at the forthcoming NATIONAL CONVENTION on 26th February.
“Conscious of my abilities, experiences and my antecedents as a former House of Assembly member, two-time State Commissioner and Hon. Minister of the FRN, this will enable me to further serve APC as political party to the best of my ability.
“I promise never to disappoint the gratitude of our members. LONG LIVE APC. DR. ABDUR-RAHEEM ADEBAYO SHITTU, Former Minister of Communications”
