Oyo state government has recorded one COVID-19 related death as total confirmed cases hit 605, Governor Seyi Makinde has said.
According to the governor, the total number of COVID-19 deaths in Oyo State is now eight (8).

He also said, “the COVID-19 confirmation tests for thirty suspected cases came back POSITIVE.
“The cases are from Ibadan SW (8), Ido (4), Ibadan NW (4), Ibadan SE (3), Ibadan NE (2), Ibadan North (2), Ona Ara (2), Saki West (2), Oluyole (1) Lagelu (1), & Itesiwaju (1) Local Government Areas,”he tweeted.
Governor Makinde advised residents who have any strange feeling of fevers, sudden loss of taste/smell or other known COVID-19 symptoms to visit the nearest community-based testing centre to get tested.
