President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to attend the wedding fatiha of Hajiya Fatima, daughter of Kano State Governor, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
Fatima Abdullahi Umar Ganduje is to be handed over in marriage to the son of Oyo state Governor, Senator Isiaq Abiola Ajimobi.
Recall that insideoyo.com reported earlier that the marriage is to be contracted at Emir’s palace by 12pm under the supervision of the Emir of Kano, Malam Muhammad Sanusi ll.
The state Commissioner of Information, Malam Muhammad Garba told Daily Trust on Saturday that 25 serving governors would attend the wedding fatiha.
Garba added also expected at the occassion include serving and former ministers, senators and members of House of Representatives.
“The wedding faitha will be another political gathering. Kano state will witness another historic gathering today,” he assured.
