The former Chairman of Nigeria Communications Commission(NCC), Professor Adeolu Akande, has donated various food items to Special Basic School Saki, as well as Hospital equipments to Muslims Hospital Saki as part of the celebration of his 59th birthday.
The former NCC Chairman, Professor Adeolu Akande, who was represented by Alhaji Waheed Adesina, explained that the presentation was done to appreciate God for adding another year to his age and to also help to ameliorate the suffering of the masses.
According to him, Professor Akande advised the students of the special basic school pupils not to give up on their studies.
He explained that physical challenges is not an excuse for failure as many people in Nigeria and across the world have achieved greatness in the world. He advised the world
The former NCC Chairman, while presenting hospital equipment to the Muslim Hospital, Saki,prayed for the staff of the institution for God’s protection while carrying out their duties.
He advised the management of the hospital to make judicious use of the hospital materials donated to the institution,promising that his support for the hospital would be continuous and based on the needs of the hospital as in the donations he made to appreciate God for His birthday.
Professor Adeolu Akande urged well-to- do members of the society to always assist the less privileged ones.
