Governor Mai Mala Buni-led APC Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) has announced the appointments of Hon. Musliudeen Akinremi populary known as Jagaban, Deputy Governors Obafemi Hamzat (Lagos) and Noimot Salako-Oyedele (Ogun) to conduct southwest zonal congress of the party.
The exercise is scheduled to hold March 12th, 2022.

Hon. Akinremi is to chair the committee while Lagos State deputy governor is to serve as secretary.
Other members of the committee include Malik Taina Okene, Mohammed Wali, Yekini Nabena and Ms. Yahaya.
Caretaker secretary of the party, James John Akpanuodehehe, in the statement, said the meetings of zonal stakeholders would hold Saturday 26th February at their respective geo-political zones
