A group better known as Oyo United for Justice (OUJ) has condemned the attack on Senator Monsura Sunmonu over the selection of new Alaafin.
According to the group, Senator Sunmonu that represents Oyo central senatorial district and Former Speaker of House of Assembly in Oyo State will not be allowed to be dragged into the mud because of false accusations that are trending online.
The group in a statement on Friday opined that, the distinguished Senator has not influenced anyone in the selection of new King nor partake in any campaign of “Omo oye”.
OUJ stressed that, Senator Monsura Sumonu has every right to contribute to the development of Oyo Town.
The group concluded by warning any aggrieved faction of the kingmaker not to dishonour or defame the personality of an eminent woman and the true born of Oyo Town Senator Monsura Sumonu.
