Governor Abiola Ajimobi is planning to impose Teslim Folarin on Oyo delegates ahead of today’s Oyo Central Senatorial primary election.
Sources told Insideoyo.com last Tuesday night that the governor has perfected plans to impose Folarin on other candidates.
The governor who met the Oyo central senatorial district aspirants of the APC yesterday night in Ibadan told the aspirants the need to reach a consensus.
Sources revealed that the same way Chief Adebayo Adelabu was imposed which forced some aspirants to boycott the election and other to step down
Recall that insideOYO.com had earlier reported that 6 aspirants obtained forms and were cleared by the party to contest in the Oyo central senatorial race.
They are Senator Teslim Folarin; Hon. Temitope Olatoye Sugar the Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy affairs, Mr. Bimbo Kolade, Engr Faozey Oladotun, Mr Oyedemi Wakil Oyeleru and Hon. Oluokun George Akintola
Also recall that Telsim Folarin who was the governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party in the 2015 general election joined the APC alongside the former governor Adebayo Alao Akala.
Sources also revealed that with the way former governor Adebayo Alao Akala boycotted the gubernatorial primary election, the governor does not want Senator Teslim Folarin scheme out of Oyo APC.
