The leadership of 3SC supporters club has unveiled an Ibadan based astute businessman, Alhaji Mutiu Oladejo Onimalu as ‘Goodwill Ambassador’ of the club.
The unveiling was done on Tuesday inside the Heir’s place, Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Adamasingba Ibadan attracted top hierarchy of the club when the businessman was decorated with paraphernalia of honours.
Oladejo in his acceptance speech pledged to use everything within his capacity to support the club especially towards the launch of a N500 million fund for the club slated for July 12, 2018.
“Shooting Stars is a global brand, and I’m delighted to accept this responsibility of retuning this club back to its pride of place among notable clubs in Africa and beyond”.
“I’ll also cultivate support for the team from my fellow business associates and friends by coming to motivate the team during their home matches, by this I’m sure the boys will give their best and return 3SC back to elite cadre this season”, Oladejo added.
Earlier in his address of welcome, the Project Chairman, Mr Olufemi Oyeniyi extolled the virtues of the new ambassador as an embodiment of humility and generosity “hence the need to bring him to use his goodwill for the progress of the club”, Oyeniyi concluded.
It would be recalled that few weeks ago, the Supporters Club had unveiled, Mr Yinka Agboola, Publisher of Parrot Extra and high rising Fuji Icon, Taye Akande Currency as Goodwill Ambassadors and the latest addition of Alhaji Mutiu Oladejo has made it three.
