Strong Voice Movement(SVM), A Political Group in Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Oyo State has thrown weight behind Hon.Olusegun Olaleye who is known as ‘Radical Brother’ on his aspiration to represent the constituency at the Green Chamber of National Assembly come 2023.
SVM affirmed Radical Brother’s candidature in a release jointly signed by the duo of Shola Odejobi, Chairman and Michael Samson, Secretary.
They stressed that the House of Reps’ Hopeful has character, competence and capability to represent Ibadan North Federal Constituency at the National Assembly come 2023.
The duo maintained that Radical Brother’s legislative experience and knowledge garnered while he was a two-term member of Oyo State House of Assembly has no doubt qualified him to take a seat at the Green Chamber.
Adding that his voice was loudly heard as a State House of Assembly member, and his tactics of lobby and good rapport with other honourable colleagues facilitated goodies and overall dividends of democracy to his constituents.
They disclosed that politics has advanced to a stage that it is only people with required experience and possession of other qualities like Radical Brother should be allowed to give an effective representation.
They however called on concerned stakeholders within the fold of People’s Democratic Party(PDP) to objectively toe the path of democratic process on emergence of candidates for respective positions.
They maintained that PDP remains party with adherence to democratic principles and it would not hesitate to maintain statusquo at every political engagement.
