Chief Luqman Oyebisi Ilaka, the Immediate Past Chief of Staff to the Governor Seyi Makinde and an Oyo Central Senatorial hopeful has said that 2022 is another chance for Nigeria to get it right as country.
In a press release made available by his aide on Digital Communications, Kehinde Owolabi, he congratulated all Nigerians on crossing into the new year.
He urged everyone to ruminate on all the lessons for the past year and also concentrate on the dreams of the future.
He said that “the new year is giving us a blank page on which we all have to consciously try to write something good on.”
Ilaka also urged that “as we go into the New Year despite being busy we should remember that the warmth of human relations and companionship are one of the most important things in life.
“We should strive to do something important and useful for other people and to help those who require our support, to make them happy by giving them attention whenever the need arises because such sincere impulses, pure thoughts and selfless generosity are the true magic to transform the world, filling it with joy and smiles.”
The Ladilu of Oyo kingdom concluded by praying for a better and safer 2022, admonishing all to stay safe and observe the COVID-19 guidelines while wishing peace and prosperity to all and sundry.
