The Executive Chairman of Ibarapa North Local Government, Hon. Lawal Lateef Akorede, has appreciated the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, faithful in Ayete for the reception accorded to him during a general meeting recently.
Amidst drums and praise songs, the event was a reflection of the people’s gratitude and recognition of the administration’s developmental strides.
In his address, Hon. Akorede reported advancements in youth empowerment and job creation schemes, in tandem with Governor Seyi Makinde’s vision of infrastructural development and poverty alleviation.
He also reaffirmed his commitment under the Akorede 2.0 Agenda by giving out food items and cash to the elderly and widows, once again showing people-centered governance.
Hon. Akorede urged citizens to be loyal and prayerful and announced that more dividends of democracy are on the way.
“PDP is set to usher in prosperity and all-inclusive growth for our people,” he concluded.
