The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oluyole Local Government Area of Oyo State has adopted Kehinde Isiaka Olaosebikan as its governorship candidate for the 2019 election.
Olaosebikan was former Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to former Governor Lam Adesina of Oyo State and former chairman of the Oluyole local government.
Hon. Abiodun Muideen Wahab, lawmaker representing Oluyole constituency in the state House of Assembly, moved the motion for Olaosebikan’s adoption at the party’s meeting at Community Primary School, Olomi.
The motion was seconded by Prince Ayodeji Abass Aleshinloye, chairman of Oluyole local government, and was unanimously carried when Waheed Akinleye, the party’s chairman, put the question to the house.
Olaosebikan thus became the first gubernatorial aspirant to be unanimously endorsed and adopted at the grassroots.
Olaosebikan, in his response, thanked the party leaders and members in the area for their love, pledging to do everything possible to see that he emerged the next governor of the state.
