A federal high court sitting in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, has dismissed the petition of Dr. Olajide Adewale challenging the victory of Hon. Olusumbo Olugbemi, who represents Oluyole federal constituency in the House of Representatives.

Adewale had taken Olugbemi and the state chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC to court over the alleged substitution of his name for Olugbemi as candidate of the party in the 2015 national assembly election.
For close to 3 years, the case has been in court.
