A Commissioner at the Oyo State House of Assembly Service Commission, OYHASC, Hon Moses Ojoawo, has paid tribute to the late Hon Gabriel Olayiwola, also known as Layi Baale, marking a year since his passing.
According to Ojoawo, a former Commissioner for Information, the people of Eruwa, Ibarapa, and Oyo state as a whole will continue to remember Layi Baale’s legacy.
He described Layi Baale as a respected politician who had the love of the people at heart.
Ojoawo said: “Layi Baale was a man of the people, whose contributions to the development of our state will never be forgotten.
“His legacy continues to inspire us, and we will keep remembering him for his selfless service to humanity.”
Ojoawo’s statement highlights the impact Layi Baale had on his community and the state at large. He urged the family and friends of the deceased to take solace in the memories of his life and legacy.
