The Chairman, Oyo State Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (RUWASSA), Engineer Najeem Omirinde has called on party members to be peaceful during the conduct of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, ward congress across the state.
The ward congress is scheduled to hold tomorrow across the state.
Omirinde in a statement made available to newsmen on Friday called on all party members to remain loyal to the leader of the party in the state, Governor Seyi Makinde.
He also called on the aggrieved members of the party to put the interest of the party first in everything. He urged them to embrace peace.
He said: “As we hold Congress across the state tomorrow, let me use this opportunity to call on all party members to embrace peace. Let’s all support and be loyal to the leader of the party in the state, His Excellency, Engineer Seyi Makinde.
“Let’s put the interest of party at heart above all other interest. With this, we will form a formidable PDP and the party of our dream.”
