Valuehandlers International Limited, a supply chain management company that specializes in Air and Sea Freight Shipping, Customs clearing and cargo Servicing has on Tuesday, opened its Regional office in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
The opening of the office located at Scout Camp, challenge area intends to cover Lagos- Ibadan, Osogbo, Ile Ife, Ilesa and Akure.
Among the dignitaries at the event included, Reverend Elijah Akinwunmi Oretade, the Abese/ Basegun of Ibadan land, Dr. Lasaki Kayode, Barrister Olamilekan Soyombo and Iyaloja of Agbeni market, Mrs. Sikirat Jimoh.
Others included market leaders from Bodija market and Dugbe markets and a representative from Odua Chambers of Commerce.
Managing Director/ Founder of the company, Mr. Adetayo George-Adewoye noted that the company recently opened local logistics service to deliver goods to clients within the country.
He added that Valuehandlers has been delivering cargoes to and from Nigeria since 2011 and has thus acquired an extensive expertise in freight forwarding, cargo handling and servicing.
George-Adewoye said, “Valuehandlers International Limited is a supply chain management company that specializes in logistics services and cargo delivery services in and outside Nigeria.
“We are currently covered 80 countries where we pick goods, cargos from manufacturers from seaports, international airports and deliver them to you in Nigeria and recently we launched our local logistics services in Nigeria.”
George-Adewoye while speaking further noted that what informed the decision to open Ibadan regional office, is due to the demands by clients who are willing to send or receive goods through the company.
“People have been calling us where is our office in Ibadan. Most of our international clients or subscribers are in Ibadan here.
“We decided to go into local delivery services since people continue to ask for the services.
“And that is one of the reasons why we decided to open our regional office to cover Ile Ife, Osogbo, Ilesa and Akure.”
Director of Finance and Strategy of the company, Mr. Olatoye Ogunmola while speaking, noted that the choice of Ibadan is due to the population and its commercial values.
He said, “The choice of Ibadan is due to its popularity, population and commerce that is thriving there. Because of the gains we are to see and because of the value we intended to add.
“To provide haulage services at affordable rate. We have been doing this for the past ten years. All our goods are insured.”
