The Vale College 12th Biennial Inter-house sports competition took place on Monday 12th of February, 2024.
It was full of amusement, glamour, electrifying and thrilling activities.
The programme commenced with a welcome address by the director, Mrs. Funso Adegbola who reiterated her commitment towards an all-round holistic education, encouraging students not only to excel academically but to thrive in co-curricular activities like sports, which includes indoor games like Scrabble and chess, music, arts, robotics, vocational subjects and public speaking skills.
The four houses kicked off the event with their colourful and magnificent parade.
Beautiful and cute looking Queens and Kings along with their aides made special appearance and decorated the dignitaries.
The event was chaired by Mr. Adesoji Tayo, who applauded the school management for initiating a well organized sports event to mark the school’s 30th anniversary year and The Vale College’s strength on talents discovery and development.
The inter-house sports had in attendance parents, alumni, friends of TVC, Red Cross, Oyo State Sports’ board members, professional coaches and Invited schools.
The Amethyst house emerged the winner of the 12th Biennial Inter-house sports competition.
The management, students, parents and friends of the school look forward to a blissful 30th anniversary year as more events unfold.
