To oversee and co-ordinate production activities in the department, making sure that processing activities within the section under his control are carried out correctly, safely and economically in line with PMD best practice.

1. Operational/Technical/Professional Results

• Ensures that set quality parameters are maintained during processing
• Ensures supply of materials from relevant supporting departments for processing
• Ensures production and maintenance records are kept.

2. Leadership Results

• Participates in quality Improvement initiatives and drives this in his section.
• Ensures staff compliance with EHS standards

3. Management Results

• Co-ordinate the resources and activities of the section to support the attainment of departmental goals within agreed budgets.

4. Relationship Results

• Ensures people development and motivates employees in his section

       5.   Innovation Results

• Ensures continuous improvement in processes and maintenance procedures

• A B.Sc or HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of three years experience in tobacco processing
• Basic Appreciation of Infestation & Quality Assurance
• EHS Appreciation
• Computer Literacy (Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel)

British American Tobacco has an exciting opportunity for a Chief Security Officer to join our team in Ibadan.

The purpose of the Chief Security Officer is to provide world class security support service to BAT Factory Operations with the aim of creating and ensuring a secured environment for the day to day business operations of British American Tobacco Nigeria Limited. The CSO will advice, coordinate and implement action plans on a range of security issues with respect to Factory Security, Company Fleet, Leaf Operations, Primary and Secondary Supply Chain (Ports Operations, Security of Logistics Routes, Finished goods security, and Warehouse Security, Tax Stamps Security) and the general operations of the factory including all aspects of personnel security and company information security.

• Experience in providing customer service in a security support service and active follow ups, ability to demonstrate a good awareness of relevant business security activities.
• Evidence of working and engaging with customers, good analytical and planning skills, flexibility and ability  to deal well with ambiguity and having a proactive approach, with experience of looking for and preparing solutions in your previous roles.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills is also required.
• Able to exert influence in order to reach a solution.
• A good knowledge and experience in commercial security within the FMCG sector.

• 5 years+ experience in managerial level IT
• Project Management skills and certification; good analytical and planning skills
• competence, experience and certification in IT Infrastructure Library would be an added advantage
• Ability to demonstrate a good awareness of relevant business activities
• Evidence of working and engaging with customers and especially senior business stakeholders
• Flexibility, able to deal well with ambiguity and ability to learn quickly
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to exert influence in order to reach a solution​

• Knowledge of standard operations processes and their undergirding technical processes would be additional advantage
