President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has on Saturday, met with the All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship candidate for Oyo State, Senator Sharafadeen Alli alongside other party stakeholders, at his Ikoyi Residence, Lagos.
Also at the meeting were the three Senatorial candidates of the party namely Senator Yunus Akintunde (Oyo Central), Engineer Remi Oseni (Oyo South) and Mrs Hannah Ogunesan (Oyo North)
The meeting focused on party cohesion, mobilisation strategies, and preparations ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Sources at the meeting said President Tinubu urged the candidates to close ranks and prioritize grassroots engagement to strengthen APC’s prospects in Oyo State. He also called for unity between party leaders and candidates across all senatorial districts.
Also present at the meeting were Chief Moses Adeyemo, Oyo APC Chairman, Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle, Chief Iyiola Oladokun, Senator Hamzat Adeseun and others.
