Mogaji Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe has congratulated the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Mohood Olalekan Balogun as he clocks 80 years.
Tegbe in a statement made available to newsmen on Tuesday said the growth and development of Ibadan land and its people have experienced since he ascended the throne is a testimony to the good fortune his reign has brought.
The statement read: “No one reaches the age of forty years in Islam except that Allah protects him from madness, leprosy and leucoderma. When he is fifty, Allah makes easy his reckoning. When he reaches sixty, Allah grants him repentance. And when he reaches seventy, Allah loves him and the inhabitants of heaven love him. And when he reaches eighty, Allah accepts his good deeds and overlooks his sins”

“It is important to give thanks to the Almighty and celebrate as our father, His Imperial Majesty, the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Mohood Olalekan Balogun clocks eighty years on earth. It is indeed a special grace from Almighty Allah to attain the age of eighty on earth.
“Kabiyesi, the age you have attained is not just number, you have lived your life working and striving tirelessly for the development and growth of Ibadan and her people. The growth and development that Ibadan land and it’s people have experienced since you ascend the throne of your ancestors is a testimony to the good fortune your reign has brought to the city and it’s people.
“On behalf of the entire Oguntegbe compound, I congratulate Kabiyesi as he celebrates a new year today. I pray that the Almighty grants him more years in good health and wealth.
