In a remarkable initiative aimed at shaping the future of Oyo State’s youth, TechEd Africa, in collaboration with the Oyo State Ministry of Education and the Oyo State Management Information Center under the Technical Skill Awareness Programme (TSAP), recently concluded a transformative Digital Technology Awareness Campaign. This groundbreaking endeavor reached over 800 youths hailing from various communities in Ibadan, leaving an indelible mark on the landscape of technological education in the region.
The initiative unfolded across five prominent secondary schools in Ibadan, namely Loyola College, Islamic High School, Abadina College, and Ikolaba Grammar School. The culmination of this campaign saw 812 high school students completing an intensive Digital Technology Sensitization Program, designed to not only equip them with essential digital skills but also to illuminate the vast array of opportunities that technology careers offer.
The initiative not only reflects a commitment to educational advancement but also serves as a testament to the power of collaboration between public and private sectors. The Digital Technology Sensitization Program was a comprehensive endeavor, covering a spectrum of topics vital for the modern era.
