“I want to congratulate Nigerians for witnessing another transition of government from one civilian government to another, and this we have experienced without any form of rancor or acrimony from any quarters. We have heard a lot of prophecies regarding the swearing-in but we thank God for His love on our dear country, Nigeria.

“We have performed our civic responsibility by voting the candidate of our choice in the person of President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima. We have also witnessed their swearing-in, and I want to say that these are not enough. “As we all know that a tree can not make a forest, President Bola Tinubu needs our support and our cooperation to solve the problem of insecurity, economic sabotage, corruption in government, food insecurity, infrastructure, education and other numerous challenges facing the country. Therefore, we must all ready to join hands with him irrespective of tribes, religion and cultural backgrounds.

“As we all know that President Bola Tinubu is very familiar with the terrains of this country and knows where our problems lie. His antecedents when he was the governor of Lagos State for eight years speak volume. I believe that his inauguration, preparation, readiness and eagerness to lead the country for the next four years would unequivocally birth unprecedented achievements across the length and breadth of Nigeria,” Arc Hassan Giwa said.

While congratulating the newly sworn-in President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Arc Hassan Giwa charged him to focus on the aspects of life where Nigeria masses are suffering and ensure palliative measures are applied.

“I want to appeal to President Bola Tinubu to make his primary focus on aspects of life where people are suffering and assistance is needed with the aim of alleviating the suffering.”
