Ibadan-based influential man, Chief Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, has lauded the Oyo State Governor, Mr Seyi Makinde, and the state’s Commissioner of Police, Mr Shina Olukolu, for what he described as unprecedented peace in Oyo.
Chief Ighoho in a statement over the weekend said since Makinde assumed office in May, the state has witnessed peace as people saw him as a peace-loving governor.
“Since the assumption of office as the Governor of Oyo State on May 29, 2019, Engineer Seyi Makinde has led the state to witness an unprecedented era of peace and development.
“His efforts have also been readily, deliberately and freely supported by the state Commissioner of Police, Mr Shina Olukolu, and this has yielded positive results.”
He added that peace was important for economic growth.
