Sujimoto Group has disowned a fraudulent website operating at _https://www.sujimotonigpro.com_, saying it has no connection to the platform or any investment and recruitment schemes being promoted through it.
In a press release issued Monday, the real estate firm said neither the company nor its Group Managing Director, Dr. Sijibomi Ogundele, has any affiliation, partnership, endorsement, or relationship with the website and its operators.
โThe website and its activities are entirely unauthorized and do not represent the values, operations, business interests, or official communications of Sujimoto Group in any form,โ the statement read.
The company described the incident as an attempt by fraudsters to exploit its brand reputation to gain public trust.
โWhile Sujimoto Group considers it a testament to the strength, credibility, and growing influence of its brand that unscrupulous individuals seek to leverage its nameโฆ we unequivocally condemn any attempt to use the Sujimoto brand as a vehicle for fraudulent activities,โ it said.
Sujimoto also clarified the status of its projects to prevent further misinformation. It said all units at its _LucreziaBySujimoto_ development had been completed and handed over to owners and investors.
The firm added that it plans to commence development of _LeonardoBySujimoto_ in Q4 2026, a project it described as envisioned to become the tallest and most luxurious residential tower in West Africa.
It stressed that no individual, agent, broker, or company has been authorized to market, sell, allocate, reserve, or collect funds for _LeonardoBySujimoto_.
โAt this stage, any discussion regarding the sale of the project can only be conducted directly under the authority of the Group Managing Director, Dr. Sijibomi Ogundele,โ the statement said.
โAny individual, agent, company, or organization claiming to be selling units, receiving deposits, offering investment opportunities or soliciting funds under the name of Sujimoto Group or in connection with LeonardoBySujimoto without express authorization should be regarded as a fraudster.โ
The company urged the public to exercise caution and avoid registering, investing, transferring funds, or sharing personal information through the website or with persons claiming to represent Sujimoto Group through unauthorized channels.
It said it has commenced action and is working with security and law enforcement agencies to investigate the matter and ensure those behind the operation are identified and prosecuted.
Members of the public with information about the website or unauthorized sales claims were asked to report to _info@sujimotonig.com_ and to appropriate security authorities.
Sujimoto Group said all official investment opportunities and corporate communications are released only through its verified and official channels.
