The senator representing Oyo South senatorial district, Riliwan Adesoji Akanbi has written a letter to Governor Abiola Ajimobi to request for guidance and directive for his next electoral adventure.
The letter dated 28th, August 2018 was laden with the complimentary and persuasive words to the Governor also honoured as the leader of the party seeking his favour to have second term ticket to the red chamber.
Akanbi expressed his respect for the voice of his constituents and other stakeholders as not enough to go into the primary with the governor whom many believed is also interested in getting the ticket to represent the district having been a member of the 5th assembly.
The print was filtered into social media on getting wind of Ajimobi surreptitious collection of the expression and nomination forms for the Senate by the governor through a proxy while many are speculating that Sen. Akanbi may be on his way out of the party to seek his re-election on another platform.
