The executive cabinet of Ibarapa North Local Government has expressed satisfaction and confidence in the leadership of Mr Lateef Akorede, the chairman of the local government area.
At the joint meeting held, the members of the executive cabinet which comprises the chairman, vice chairman, secretaries, and the supervisory councilors admonished the Legislative arm to search for more lights on the local government administration and management as enacted by the 1991 constitution with respect to their statutory functions and limitations.
These were made known in a statement by the media aide to the Chairman and made available to newsmen on Thursday.
The cabinet also urged the legislative arm of the local government to embrace unflinching and unalloyed supports that will be for the interest of the people that they are representing and not their personal interests.
They also advised the councilors to embrace the conflict resolution strategy in order to avoid the breaking down of law and order.
They said shutting down of business and other activities at the local government secretariat was an unprofessional conduct.
It read in part: “The executive members of the government emphasized that executive chairman Ibarapa North LG Hon.
