Following the declaration of his assets, a transparency, accountability and advocacy group, Socio-Economic Rights & Accountability projects popularly known as SERAP, has called on Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde to invite the organisation to verify his assets.
Recall that insideoyo.com had earlier reported that Governor Makinde made a public declaration of his assets worth more than N45bn at the Code of conduct Bureau (CCB) which he made public on Monday.
SERAP in a post seen by insideoyo.com on its official Twitter handle applauded the governor’s bold move and commitment to transparency.
The body, however, said it has a team of volunteers that is capable of verifying these assets and would appreciate the governor’s public invitation authorising it to carry out the verification exercise.
