Senate President and presidential aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Senator Bukola Saraki visited Ibadan, the Oyo state capital on Tuesday.
Saraki met with leaders of the party as well as delegates.
InsideOYO.com gathered that the meeting was part of moves by the senate leader to secure ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party ahead of the presidential primaries.
In words, Saraki wrote on his social media platform, “I just finished meeting our PDP leaders and delegates in Oyo State.
“We discussed the fact that to #GrowNigeria, we need unity and peace to achieve progress — and this can only be achieved with deliberate and focused leadership.”
