The Saki West Local Government Legislature Council has expressed deep sadness over the passing of Chief Michael Koleoso, the Babalaje of Saki land and former Secretary to the Oyo State Government.
In a condolence message signed by Councilor Salaudeen Soliu Abiodun, Leader of the House, they described Chief Koleoso as a “distinguished statesman, dedicated public servant, and respected leader” whose contributions to Saki land and Oyo State will never be forgotten.
The lawmakers also commiserated with the Chairman of Saki West local government area, Honourable Gbenga Akinola and the entire Koleoso political dynasty.
The Council remembered his wisdom, guidance, and selfless service to the people, stating that his legacy will continue to inspire and motivate them to work towards the progress and growth of their community.
They extended their heartfelt condolences to the Emi-Abata family, the people of Saki land, and the entire Oyo State community, praying for the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
It reads: “The Saki West Local Government Legislature Council is deeply saddened by the passing of our beloved Babalaje of Saki land and former Secretary to the Oyo State Government, Chief Michael Koleoso.
“We received the news of his demise with great shock and sorrow. Chief Koleoso was a distinguished statesman, a dedicated public servant, and a respected leader in our community. His contributions to the development of Saki land and Oyo State as a whole will never be forgotten.
“We remember his wisdom, guidance, and selfless service to our people. His legacy will continue to inspire and motivate us to work towards the progress and growth of our community.
“We extend our heartfelt condolences to the Emi-Abata family, the people of Saki land, and the entire Oyo State community. May God grant us the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
