The Chairman Saki West Local Government, Engr. Sarafadeen Omirinde Ahmed has commended Governor Seyi Makinde for running an inclusive government.
He said this on Wednesday during the flag off of the distribution of insecticide-treated nets in Saki.
He added that the Governor has not left any sector untouched ranging from Health, Education, Security as well as Infrastructure and Agricultural sectors.
According to a statement by the Media Aide to the Chairman, Mukaila Muideen, Omirinde was represented by the Vice Chairman, Mr Akinola Olugbenga who was accompanied by members of the legislative arms of the council.
Olugbenga appreciated the Governor for reiterating his administration’s commitment in health sector, prioritizing the sector and well-being of the citizens in the state.
He added that the distribution of the insecticide-treated nets to every household by the state government cut across 33 LGAs in which Saki community and its environs are among the beneficiaries.
He expressed his appreciation to the Governor on behalf of the people of Saki for the developmental projects he has extended to Saki community since the commencement of this administration some of which are construction of Saki -Igboho road, rehabilitation and reconstruction of OYSADA and host of others.
His words: “We are truly enjoying dividends of democracy being distributed by Oyo State Government and we know it won’t stop”.
He admonished the people of Saki to continue to pray for the success of the Governor while expressing his gratitude to people of Saki for their persistence support.
