Engr Raufu Aderemi Olaniyan has obtained the nomination form to contest Oyo gubernatorial primaries under the Africa Democratic Congress.
The Igboho born politician also affirmed that he is the favourite to clinch the ADC guber ticket in Oyo state.
Olaniyan made this assertion on Monday at the temporary secretariat of the ADC where he has gone to obtain the party’s nomination form to contest the gubernatorial election in 2019.
He reiterated that of the ADC aspirants he is not just the most qualified to get the ticket, but the best among them all.
He said has paid his dues in public service, having served for over 26 years in the Oyo state civil service and retired as a permanent secretary, noted that he is familiar with the needs of the people and with him at the helm of affairs after the 2019 elections the good people of Oyo state are assured of a government with a human face.
Olaniyan who was accompanied to the ADC secretariat by hundreds of his supporters, drawn fromall the zones in the state, assured them that he has no doubt that he will become the ADC candidate in the state, and advised t them to go and spread the goodness that abounds in the Africa Democratic Congress which he will bring about as head of Oyo state government.
He thanked the people of the state for their support so far and urged them not to relent as there is more to be done.
