As a mark of recognition and appreciation towards her numerous philanthropic support towards the development and upliftment of mankind, the Radio Television and Theatre Arts Workers Union (RATTAWU) BCOS chapter today honoured Ibadan North East / South East Federal House of Reps Hopeful, Hon. Adebola Shakirat Adetunji (ASHAD) with a Media Award of Excellence.
The award ceremony which was hosted by the Radio, Television, Theatre and Arts Workers Union of Nigeria of the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State (BCOS) chapter was presented in view of her astounding contributions to the development of humanity and her unparalleled efforts at bringing succor to the less privileged.
While appreciating the Chairman and members of the union for counting her worthy and deserving of the award, Hon. Adebola Shakirat Adetunji extolled the unprecedented role of the media in bringing to the attention of the public, the remote and immediate needs if the masses which in turn helps people like her identify those with genuine needs and help.
She expressed her readiness to always partner with the media in ways that will continue to benefit the people of Oyo state and most especially the people of Ibadan North East/South East federal constituency which falls within the city centre of Oyo state.
