As part of its corporate social responsibilities, the Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology (OYSCATECH), Igboora has commenced tractor hiring service for farmers in Ibarapaland.
According to the management of the institution, the tractor hiring service is usually provided for farmers in Ibarapa communities.
The Acting Rector, Mr. Olaniyi Adekunle explained that the tractor hiring service is at a reduced price to farmers.
Mr. Adekunle revealed that the tractor hiring service would assist farmers to cultivate more land, thereby, boosting food production in the state.
He noted that the support services provided to farmers in Ibarapa communities is in line with the government’s agenda of driving the state economy through agriculture.
The Acting Rector therefore called on farmers in Ibarapaland to avail themselves of this golden opportunity.
