Political associates, friends and family members converged at the Ibadan home of late former governor Lam-Adesina’s personal assistant, Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle to celebrate his 57th birthday and his appointment as chairman of National Lottery Regulatory Commission.
Ibikunle’s appointment came few hours to his birthday.
At the celebration which took place in his Akobo residence, associates of Lam-Adesina, especially those who believe in his ideology showered praises on Ibikunle for ‘holding the family together in trying times.
Ibikunle’s Profile:
Born exactly 60 days after Nigeria got her independence, Fatai Bayonle Ibikunle of Lanlate area of Ibarapa East Local government, he attended Progressive Secondary Grammar School, Ado-Awaye, Iseyin local government before proceeding to the University of Lagos, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and University of Ibadan, where he bagged national diploma and advanced diploma in business administration after which he got a bachelor of science degree in psychology.
He once worked at the national assembly, federal ministry of internal affairs as personal assistant to the honourable minister between 1993 and 1995. He was later made personal assistant to late former governor Lam-Adesina in 1999. He was also special adviser on political matters and later parastatal to Governor Abiola Ajimobi till 2015.
His hobbies include reading, politics, meeting people and sports.
