Accreditation and voting have commenced in some local governments as Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission, (OYSIEC), kicked off 4,783 polling units and 5,260 polling points across the state, insideoyo.com reports

The chairman of the Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission, Mr Jide Ajeigbe had disclosed on Friday that “the election will hold in 4,783 polling units and 5,260 polling points in 610 wards.
He said over 10,000 ad-hoc staff apart from the staff of the commission are to conduct the election and 12 political parties are participating in the election.
