Governors Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State and Badaru Abubakar, Islamic clerics and some eminent Nigerians on Sunday gathered at the Abiola Ajimobi Central Mosque in Oke Ado Ibadan, to offer last respect for the soul of the immediate past Governor of the state, Abiola Ajimobi.
A special prayer is to be offered for the deceased at teh mosque named after him.
Among whom were at the Mosque for the special prayer is Idris Ajimobi, the only son of Ajimobi and Wasiu Ajimobi, a younger brother of Ajimobi.
Some political leaders present at the special prayer included apart from Ganduje and Abubakar are; Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Obafemi Hamzat, Speaker Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, Ajimobi’s Deputy, Moses Adeyemo and former member, House of Representatives Saheed Fijabi.
Other personalities present at the event included Deputy Governor of Oyo state, Rauf Olaniyan, Bayo Adelabu, Teslim Folarin, Rotimi Ajanaku, Shina Peller, Adebayo Ojo among others others.
Islamic clerics who present at the event included; Muideen Ajani Bello, Taofeek Akewugbagold, Abibullahi Buhari and Chairman, Muslim Community in Oyo state, Isiaq Kunle Sanni.
