As the local government election in Oyo state approaches, the campaign coordinator of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in Ifedapo Federal Constituency, Honourable Ayobami Ojo has donated one million naira and three buses to the campaign councils.
Alhaji Waheed Oluwakemi, the Special Assistant on Saki East/West, ATISBO Federal Constituency to Governor Seyi Makinde made this known, on Sunday, at a meeting in Saki.
The local government areas under the Ifedapo Federal Constituency are ATISBO, Saki East and Saki West local government areas. Each of the LGAs got one bus.
Also speaking at the meeting, Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke, the secretary of the party in Oyo state said this election will be the first time in which the party will appoint Federal Constituency Campaign Coordinator.
He expressed joy that the coordinators are performing well in their respective constituency.
He commended Honourable Ayobami Ojo for the kind gesture and donation for the party in ATISBO, Saki East, Saki West Federal constituency.
While speaking at the sideline of the meeting, Honourable Ayobami Ojo said he made the donation to ease the campaign activities of the party at the federal Constituency.
Ojo, a former member of the Oyo state House of Assembly who represented ATISBO and Saki East state Constituency called on others to support the campaign council in the local government areas.
He urged party members to take the campaign to every nook and cranny of the local government areas while assuring the people that the party will complement the efforts of Governor Seyi Makinde under the Omituntun 2.0 mantra.
