The Oyo State Youth Championship has announced a football tournament which will commence in July, 2023.
The tournament is being organized by Acceletrade Media, the convener of the competition is Femi Ola-Abraham while the duo of Adeseye Vincent and Oyedepo Olufemi are directors of programme.
According to Mr. Ola-Abraham, the football competition will host eligible football teams in Oyo State as soon as they duly register for the tournament.
“The registration is free; interested teams can register with Oyo State Association of Coaches for verification, approval and scrutiny.
“Yes, by His Grace, the competition will start from 15th of July till first week of August.
“The first team would take home a cash prize of #5m (#5,000,000), second position will take home #2m (#2,000,000), third position will take home #1m (#1,000,000) and the person who eventually gets the golden boot will get a full-paid trip to Spain or France.
“The quarter final is scheduled to take place at Oyo town, Ogbomoso and Iseyin. The final match will be played at Adamasingba Stadium (also called Lekan Salami stadium) in Ibadan,” he said.
