There was drama on Saturday on BOTTOM LINE – a political programme on IBR 92.5fm Ibadan as a member of the All Progressives Congress in Oyo State, Fatai Adesokan alleged that Governor Seyi Makinde collects a sum of one billion naira as security vote monthly.
Featuring alongside Micheal Ogunsina, who is the Deputy Publicity Secretary of the PDP in Oyo State by Aanuoluwapo Omorinde, the Anchor of the programme, Adesokan said the security situation in Oyo State does not justify the huge amount which the Governor receives as security vote on daily basis.
Though denied by the PDP man, he insisted saying the Governor takes that much.
He challenged the handlers of the Governor to issue a statement denying his claim.
“I challenge either the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor or the Commissioner for Information to deny this”.
Cautioning the APC Scribe against peddling falsehood, Ogunsina described lies as the trade in stock of the APC adding that the broom party has penchant for misinforming the people.
