The Chariman of the Oyo state Rural Water and Sanitation Agency, OYRUWASSA, Engineer Najeem Omirinde has congratulated the Okere of Saki, Oba (DR) Surv Khalid Olabisi Oyeniyi Oyedepo III over his appointment as the Chancellor of Inter-Border Land Top University (IBLT), Togo.
Omirinde in a congratulatory message made available to newsmen on Saturday said the Okere’s love for education is yielding results as he is being recognized by institutions.
He added that Okere has recognized education as the bedrock of development and has been following that line since he became the monarch of the town.
He said Saki will witness many developmental projects in the education sector and other sectors because Okere is a lover of development.
Omirinde said the monarch recently featured on a ‘Eyii Ara’ a program on the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo state (BCOS) where he said he will give land free of charge to any individual or government who wants to establish university in Saki.
He said that it showed the level of the monarch’s commitment to education and development of Saki.
His words: “Congratulations to our monarch, Okere of Saki, Oba (DR) Surv Khalid Olabisi Oyeniyi Oyedepo III on his appointment and installation as the Chancellor of Inter-Border Land Top University (IBLT), Togo.
“Kabiyesi knows the value of education and he has since been working on Saki will be developed in that sector and other sectors. The appointment by the University shows his love for education is yielding results. Congratulations once again.”
The monarch also bagged honorary doctorate degree from the University. He was installed on Friday, at his palace in Saki.
