The chairman of the Oyo state Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (OYRUWASSA), Engineer Najeem Omirinde, has congratulated Governor ‘Seyi Makinde, over his re-election as Governor of the state.
Omirinde in a statement made available to newsmen, on Sunday stated that the good people of Oyo State has shown that they believe in his administration and want to sustain the development.
Makinde, who contested under the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, emerged winner, having polled 563,756 votes cast beating his nearest opponent, Senator Teslim Folarin of the All Progressives Congress, APC, who polled 256,685.
Omirinde, who also congratulated the deputy governor of the State, Barrister Bayo Lawal emphasized that the Seyi Makinde’s administration will continue to do well for the people of Oyo State.
He also eulogized the efforts of the security agencies, Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, and also the people of the state over the conduct of peaceful election.
