Tosin Alabi: I’m Coming to Represent Egbeda/Ona-Ara, Not Just to Aspire

A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) aspirant for the Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal House of Representatives seat, Hon. Tosin Alabi, has declared that his 2027 ambition goes beyond mere aspirational, affirming that he is fully prepared to provide purposeful and people-centered representation for the constituency.

Hon. Alabi made this bold declaration during a strategic visit to his political ward, Ward 4, Aba Oloko in Egbeda Local Government Area, where he met with party leaders, critical stakeholders, youths and loyal party faithful.

Addressing the gathering, the aspirant expressed deep joy and pride in returning home to consult with his people, describing Aba Oloko as the foundation of his political journey.

“I am proud to come from Aba Oloko. Charity begins at home.

I am not just coming to aspire and compete; I am coming to represent Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency come 2027,” he stated confidently.

Hon. Alabi appreciated the warm reception and overwhelming support from leaders and stakeholders in Ward 4, assuring them that he would not betray the trust reposed in him.

He emphasized that legislative representation requires deliberate preparation, vision and commitment long before assuming office.

“Legislative representation is what you prepare for ahead of time in order to give your people the quality service they deserve.

I have prepared for this task, and by the grace of God, I will deliver a representation that will bring real dividends of democracy to our people,” he added.

The aspirant also extended special appreciation to Hon. Busari Olayemi for his leadership role and constant support, acknowledging the contributions of party elders and grassroots mobilizers who have stood by him.

Hon. Alabi assured both the elderly and the youths that his representation would prioritize inclusiveness, development-driven policies and empowerment initiatives that would positively impact the entire federal constituency.

He reaffirmed his commitment not to disappoint his ward, which he described as his political root and moral compass.

In their separate remarks, leaders, stakeholders and youths of Ward 4, Aba Oloko, described Hon. Tosin Alabi as a respectful, cultured and brilliant personality worthy of the mandate.

They expressed pride that such a promising figure hails from their ward and pledged their total support for his ambition.

Further strengthening his grassroots consultation, Hon. Alabi extended his visit to Oloko Village and its environs. He also paid homage at his family house in Oloko and visited the Baale of Obada, Rauf Abiodun Raji where he received royal blessings and prayers for success in his political journey.

In his closing remarks, Hon. Alabi expressed profound gratitude for the love and acceptance shown to him by the people of Ward 4 in Egbeda Local Government.

He prayed for continuous growth and development across Egbeda and Ona-Ara, reiterating once again:

“I am coming to represent, not just to aspire and compete.” He submitted!

The visit has since been described by party faithful as a significant step in consolidating grassroots support ahead of the 2027 general elections.
