A member of the Federal House of Representatives representing Akinyele/Lagelu federal constituency, Oyo, Hon. (Prince) Akinmoyede Olafisoye Wasiu has concluded arrangements for the distribution of another phase of his ongoing empowerment programme to his constituents.
This upcoming phase, the fifth within the span of five months since April this year organised by the lawmaker, is scheduled to take place on Thursday 17th October, 2024 at Community Grammar School, Alegongo, Ibadan by 10.a.m.
This programme will empower hundreds of beneficiaries mostly women and the youth with items such as Tricycles popularly known as Keke Marwa, sewing machines, grinding machines, spraying machines, fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides for the farmers.
These items valued at an estimated two hundred million naira (N200,000,000:00) to be distributed to the constituents are part of the ongoing efforts of Hon. Akinmoyede fondly called “Lafi”‘s continued support for constituency outreach programmes to make life meaningful for them.
Dignitaries which include community leaders, religious leaders. party leaders and beneficiaries drawn from both Akinyele/Lagelu federal constituency are expected to grace the occasion.
