The Member representing Oluyole Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Tolulope Akande-Sadipe, has congratulated His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Senator) Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, on his historic coronation as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.
In a statement issued by her Media Office, the Oluyole Federal Constituency lawmaker described the ascension of Oba Ladoja to the exalted throne as “a divine fulfillment and a momentous blessing for the entire Ibadanland, Oyo State, and Nigeria at large.”
“Kabiyesi’s coronation marks not just a continuation of our rich cultural heritage but also the dawn of renewed hope, wisdom, and unity for Ibadanland. His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Sen.) Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, has throughout his life exemplified leadership, statesmanship, and unwavering commitment to the service of our people. His reign will undoubtedly usher in peace, progress, and prosperity,” she said.
Hon. Akande-Sadipe, who serves as the Chairperson, House Committee on Humanitarian Services, further emphasized the significance of Oba Ladoja’s coronation, noting that his unique experience as a statesman and a former Governor of Oyo State will add immense value to the traditional institution.
She urged all indigenes of Ibadanland and Oyo State to rally behind the new monarch, uphold unity, and work collectively to strengthen the legacy of Ibadan as a city of culture, resilience, and greatness.
