Mrs. Grace Oladejo, the Director of Bismag Catering Services has urged Oyo state Governor Seyi Makinde and Oyo People’s Democratic Party ( PDP ) under the Chairmanship of Elder Dayo Ogungbenro to help her retrieve the payment of foods that were eaten during the Oyo state PDP Youth Engage program which was held last month as the guarantor, Mr. Alao Olalekan was at large.
The caterer in her appeal message to Governor Seyi Makinde, Elder Dayo Ogungbenro and Oyo PDP Stakeholders said, the credit facility she gave to Oyo state PDP Youth during their program at Ogunlesi Hall on June 16th has made her bankrupt, as she is unable to honor the financial obligations of her catering services job anymore, more owing the workers she engaged to prepared the supplied foods.
Oladejo said the belief and trust she has in PDP and the caliber of the party stakeholders made her render the service to the party youth on credit but was disappointed when her money was not paid at the time promised.
She said: “I never thought, Oyo PDP youth are unreliable and not credit-worthy, now my business is on the brink of total collapse because I put my business capital on the line to cover up for the Oyo PDP guys.
Explaining further, Oladejo said, one Hon. Alao Olalekan contacted her on behalf of the Oyo State PDP Youth Leader’s office, requested packaged foods for close to 2500 Youth for their State Youth program, all on credit, and vowed to make payment within 48 hours after the program ended, added that the said Alao stopped picking her calls and not sleeping at his home again after traced him to his residential address.
Her words: “At first, I felt reluctant to offer such service on credit but, when I remember it is Governor Seyi Makinde’s party and the credibility of the Party Chairman and Stakeholders, I concluded to help the guys, but, I was wrong, it looked as if they have used Oyo PDP name to scam me.
“Hon. Alao Olalekan told me that, the state party is aware of the Oyo Youth Engage program and it will be fully funded by the party, He told me Governor Makinde, State Party Chairman, Hon. Dayo Ogungbenro, State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Debo Ogundoyin and others will even be at the program and I will be the one to be first paid as soon as the money is released after the program, now it is 42 days after, and I have not seen Kobo.
“I used almost all my business capital to prepare the foods for them, I got much of the ingredients from suppliers on booking me down, and even have to beg the other caterers that worked with me that I will pay them later, the food they demanded is too much and I can’t prepare it alone with the time frame, I used all available resources to prepared them all foods they required, now am at a loss, I am unable to run my business smoothly again, I will close down business if the Oyo PDP Youth don’t pay the money they are owing me in the next few days. The ingredients suppliers and workers are also on my neck, one of the suppliers disgraced me last week Sunday inside the church when am unable to fulfill my promise”. Mrs. Oladejo concluded.
When asked about the steps she has taken to retrieve the money, Oladejo said, all her effort was fruitless as Alao who contacted her on behalf of the PDP Youth not picking her calls again and was not even traceable.
She said: “Before now, I decided not to take a drastic step to retrieve my money, because Alao Olalekan, the guarantor always tell me, the party has not released the money for them, now he is no more picking up my calls and had deserted his home, had gone to the state Party Secretariat at Molete to report Alao Olalekan to the PDP State Chairman, Hon. Dayo Ogungbenro and Youth leader, Hon. Micheal Ogunshina but I was denied access to them when I told the people on the ground floor my ordeal. It has got to the point to tell the people of Oyo state that if Bismag Catering Services is out of business, then they should hold Oyo PDP youth responsible.
“I will not care how much it will cost me, I will first report to Alao Olalekan and Hon. Micheal Ogunsina on Kokoro Alate program at Agidigbo FM, or report them to Double-A of Splash FM, and my decision after that will be to report them to Oyo State Police Command at Eleyele and Oyo State EFCC. I think with the steps, Governor Seyi Makinde will ask his party youth to bring out my money where they kept it”. She concluded.
Meanwhile, when contacted, Mr. Alao Olalekan refused to make comment on the issue. He picked up the call once but dropped it immediately he was aware that the discussion.
He also failed to respond to several WhatsApp messages dropped for him, even thou it showed that all messages were read by him.
