The Onigbope of Igbópe Land, His Royal Highness, Oba (Dr.) Moses Olawale Oyetola Fabiyi (IV) Ilufemiloye I, has extended warm felicitations to the Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde, on the occasion of his 58th birthday, which coincides with the Christmas season.
In a congratulatory message made available to journalists, the monarch described Governor Makinde as a visionary leader whose administration has continued to prioritise the development and wellbeing of the people of Oyo State.
Oba Fabiyi lauded the governor’s commitment to good governance, infrastructural development, and inclusive leadership, noting that these efforts have positively impacted communities across the state.
“On behalf of the good people of Igbópe Land, I congratulate His Excellency, Engineer Seyi Makinde, on the celebration of his 58th birthday. I also wish him a joyful Christmas filled with good health, wisdom, and renewed strength to continue serving Oyo State diligently,” the monarch said.
The Onigbope noted that the coincidence of the governor’s birthday with the Christmas celebration is symbolic, describing it as a season that reflects gratitude, sacrifice, and service, qualities he said Governor Makinde has demonstrated in leadership.
