he Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State has cleared former All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant, Joseph Tegbe, and Akinwole Akinwale, popularly known as Wolekanle, as consensus senatorial candidates for Oyo South and Oyo North districts respectively.
The decision was reached on Monday, at a meeting Governor Seyi Makinde held with aspirants of the party at Government House in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.

Insideoyo.com gathered that the chairman of Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Nureni Adeniran has stepped down. It’s not clear if Senator Kola Balogun agreed with the decision of the party or not.
